After watching her four children grow up to pursue their dreams, Michelle McCarter decided it was time to chase her own.
She applied for the Aveda Institute, a Cosmetology and Esthiology school, in Tucson and started its esthetics program in September 2019.
âI was always interested and curious about skin care and taking care of my own as early as my teen years,â she said. âI made the decision to go back to school to learn more in this field and be able to offer knowledge and treatments to others.â

“In the Southland region we’re lucky to have places like Mavora Lakes just a stone’s throw from civilisation. That makes it a very popular place with locals and those from further afield coming to enjoy this special place.
However, that can lead to some issues, Grant says.
“One of the great things about Mavora is that you can do a range of different things like motorbiking, four-wheel driving (4WD) and taking your dog or horse, that can’t be done in other areas like National Parks.

LIC employees protest against Centre s disinvestment proposal
Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) employees on Tuesday protested against the government s proposal of disinvestment of the corporation in Coimbatore. During the Union Budget on Monday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the initial public offering of LIC will be brought in through requisite amendments in the session itself.
Talking about the Centre s proposal, a protester told ANI, The government has announced in the budget that the FDI in the insurance sector will be increased from 49 to 74 per cent. Simultaneously the government also declared disinvestment of LIC shares in the Indian stock market. On behalf of the All India Insurance Employees Association, we oppose and condemn the move by the Government of India (GOI). The government proposed to generate 1.75 lakh crores during this year by selling the shares of the public sector. It is against the will of the people.
